In lieu of class on Tuesday, we went on a field trip to the Teatro Colon. Pronounced call-own...not our colon! It is a really beautiful theater and is an example of the great influence Europe has had on the architecture and culture of the city. My pictures cannot do justice to just how grand the theater really is (partially because of the no-flash rules), but they can still demonstrate some of the beauty!

ReplyDeleteI love the euphemistic sounding "in lieu of class..." as opposed to "while skipping class...". It really makes the trip sound like the more responsible thing to do! The pictures are lovely, and I hope you had a great time.
